The new ME 1.7x Extender increases magnification by a factor of 1.7 and can be quickly and easily mounted between all objective and eyepiece modules of the ATX/STX/BTX family using the bayonet mount. For BTX 65mm and 85mm, the magnification increases from 30x to 50x, and for BTX 95mm and 115mm from 35x to 60x.

If the extender is used with the ATX / STX telescopes, the maximum achievable magnification is 120x with the ATX/STX 95mm and 115mm objective module or 100x together with the 65mm or 85mm objective modules.
