I-Dog pull cord ALM OPALE

The I-DOG OPALE leashes from the ALM range are pulling leashes for high pulling forces and are optimized for sporting competition. They meet the highest demands for lightness and comfort.
They were co-developed by Antony Le Moigne with the aim of winning the 2022 World Canicross Championship in the Veteran Class in France with this pull line.

Their robustness and performance are therefore perfectly matched to use in competitions where optimum material properties are required.
During the development of the OPALE pulling leash, I-DOG paid special attention to two criteria when choosing the right leash: the dog's weight and pulling force.

Three article variants in the maximum length 190 cm (elastic stretched to 100%) for use in CaniCross and Canitrail:

• OPALE SMALL DOG was designed for use with a dog weighing between 10 kg and 20 kg, due to its low elastic resistance, and depending on the traction force it delivers.

• OPALE MEDIUM DOG, due to its medium elasticity, has been designed for use with a dog weighing between 15 kg and 35 kg and depending on the tractive force it delivers.

• OPALE STRONG DOG, due to its high elasticity resistance, was developed for use with a dog between 25 kg and 50 kg and depending on the traction force it delivers.

Two article variants in maximum length 240 cm (elastic stretched to 100%) for use in bikejoring, dogscooting and skijoering:

• OPALE LONG MEDIUM DOG, thanks to its medium elasticity, is designed for use with a dog between 15 kg and 35 kg and depending on the traction force it delivers.

• OPALE LONG STRONG DOG, thanks to its high elastic resistance, is designed to be used with a dog weighing between 25 kg and 50 kg and depending on the traction force it delivers.

Product features:

ELASTICITY/KNOTES
The knots of I-DOG pulling leashes contain an elastic part that acts like a spring and a webbing that encloses this part.
If the knot comes loose, the leash will no longer have its original elasticity. You will then need to slide the elastic into the webbing and retie the knot in its original place.

MOUNTING LOOP
The OPALE traction leash in 240cm length has a mounting loop that allows it to be attached to the stem of a bicycle or scooter.
The loop has a diameter of 15cm, which is made of the identical harness of the traction line.

The attachment loop of the OPALE 190cm leash is used to attach it to the carabiner of the waist belt. This loop has a diameter of 5cm.

HANDLE HANDLE
The OPALE pull line has a handle on the carabiner side to keep your dog as close as possible, especially during starts to competitions.

CARABINER HOOK
The OPALE pull line is equipped with an ultra-light (28g) carabiner with safety system for locking.

SPAREPARTS
Spare parts are available for sale in case wear parts get damaged or broken.
The snap hook is also available as a single part.
