Advantages
On many modern bolt action rifles, a swivel mount with a 15 mm prism as the rear mounting base was and still is the preferred choice.
The upper parts grip on the front base with a pivot pin and lock on the rear prism rail with a twist lock.
The German premium riflescope mount manufacturer HMS Henneberger produces one-piece upper parts - so-called bridge swivel mounts - for rifles with such an existing swivel mount base.
This allows your existing weapon to be retrofitted with a contemporary optic or with an additional second optic for a quick swap in another type of hunting.
The mount version offered here allows a DOCTER SIGHT red dot sight to be mounted on a weapon with existing bases.
Thanks to the Docter Sight interface adapted by many optic manufacturers, this mount version is compatible with the following red dot sights:
- DOCTER SIGHT II plus
- DOCTER SIGHT III
- NOBLEX SIGHT (LE, C, Quick SIght)
- BURRIS Fast FIRE I, II, III, IV
- Delta Optical Mini Dot Gen II
- EOTech MRDS
- Hawke Vantage 1×25
- LEICA Tempus 1 & 2
- MAKdot 1×25
- MEOPTA MEOSIGHT IV
- Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec
- Vortex Viper & Venom
The position of the rear mounting clamp can be easily adjusted over almost the entire length of the bridge mount.
This ensures that the mount is compatible with all different system lengths.
Shot-proof, repeatable and can be mounted and dismounted in seconds thanks to the twist lock.
When selecting the right product, pay attention to the mounting base available on your weapon:
In contrast to other swivel mounts (EAW lever swivel mount, Steyr swivel mount), the 15mm twist lock swivel mount has a rear mounting plate with a width of 15mm.
ATTENTION: The front swivel mount trunnion is always delivered slightly oversized. The correct fit between the trunnion and the receiver already present on the gun must be achieved by professional reworking / filing.
